X-Men fans are certainly getting their fill this year. Not only will they get the second season of X-Men ’97 in the summer and see the original cast of Fox’s X-Men films enter the MCU in Avengers: Doomsday, but they will also step into the shoes of one of the most iconic mutants of all in Insomniac’s latest video game Marvel’s Wolverine.

Developed by Insomniac exclusively for the PS5, Wolverine will see players become Logan – voiced by Spartacus actor Liam McIntyre – as he becomes the Wolverine once again to rescue mutants who are being kidnapped for experimentation. Throughout his quest he will team up with other mutants and players can unlock new abilities as well as several costumes Wolverine has worn throughout the decades.
Insomniac, which developed the Spider-Man games also exclusively for PS5, revealed the first gameplay trailer during Playstation’s recent State of Play. It shows off all the blood and gore players will spill as Wolverine as well as how his healing ability will work in conjunction with the gameplay.
