Ivan Drago’s son seemingly confirmed for Creed 2

November 11, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back when there were rumblings that Dolph Lundgren’s Rocky IV antagonist Ivan Drago would be returning for Creed 2, rumours were circulating that Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed would see himself going up against son of his father’s killer, and it looks like those reports may now have been confirmed.

Speaking to MMAFighting.com, MMA star Sage Northcutt revealed the following:

“The new Creed II movie is coming out so I was actually going to audition for that. Got a little audition tape, so hopefully that goes through. That would be pretty neat. Being Ivan Drago’s son in the movie? That would be pretty fun. Sylvester Stallone seems like a really cool guy, and Dolph Lundgren seems awesome. I think me and Mr. Dolph Lundgren look kind of alike.”

Sylvester Stallone is taking on both writing and directing duties on Creed 2, as well as reprising the role of Rocky Balboa once more alongside Michael B. Jordan and Dolph Lundgren. Filming is slated to begin early in the New Year.
