Jackass crew reuniting for fourth movie

December 20, 2019 by Gary Collinson

The Jackass crew are set to reunite for another round of crazy stunts and shenanigans, with Paramount Pictures setting a March 5th 2021 release date for Jackass 4.

The MTV reality series first made the jump to the big screen in 2002 with Jackass: The Movie, which was followed by Jackass Number Two in 2006 and Jackass 3D in 2010. Star Johnny Knoxville and director Jeff Tremaine also reunited for the 2013 comedy Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, with the four movies grossing almost $500 million worldwide between them.

Jackass first launched on MTV in 2000, with Knoxville appearing alongside the likes of Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, Preston Lacy and the late Ryan Dunn.

The as-yet-untitled Jackass 4 will open on the same weekend as untitled movies from Universal and Warner Bros., as well as Sony’s Masters of the Universe movie.
