April 27, 2017 by admin

MORE MAX

With the great critical success of Mad Max: Fury Road, it came as no surprise that there was a lot of talk of more adventures from George Miller’s universe. However, since then, we’ve not heard much else. In a recent interview Miller has revealed that there are plans in place for a trilogy saying, “We dug down deep into the subtext, the backstory of all the characters, and indeed the world…and without really thinking about it, we wrote two other screenplays just as part of the bible of the stories. Somewhere, if the planets align, there will be two other films.” Read more here.

UNBREAKABLE SPLIT

LIFE FOUND A WAY

With Jurassic World 2/Jurassic Park 5 in active development, news broke yesterday that original star Jeff Goldblum will be returning to the franchise in the role of Ian Malcolm. THE FUTURE OF ANTHOLOGY

Kathleen Kennedy revealed recently that the next Star Wars Story movie would be announced this summer, and in a new interview has said that the fans will determine what we see next. “To be honest, we are beginning to talk about [the spin-offs] right now,” she said. “We have four or five weeks immersed in Han Solo and we are about to read the script for Colin Trevorrow’s Episode IX, so we have a lot of work at the moment. In the next six or eight months we will have some meetings about the stories that we will develop here. After 40 years of adventures, fans have so much information and so many theories about the way that can take these stories and theories that emerge are sometimes new ideas for us that we hear, read and pay attention to everything what is said. It is clear that the franchise is owned by the as much by the fans as it’s owned by [the people at Lucasfilm].” Read more here.
