Jennifer Jason Leigh, Randall Park, Eli Roth and more join Vanessa Kirby thriller Night Always Comes

May 25, 2024 by Ricky Church

Netflix has just added quite a collection of actors to its upcoming thriller Night Always Comes starring Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning). The film is an adaptation of Willy Vlautin’s 2021 novel of the same name from director Benjamin Caron (Sharper).

Kirby plays Lynette, a woman who is trying to make a better life for herself and sets out on a journey to achieve that dream within 24 hours. The official logline reads:

Risking everything to secure a future for herself and her brother, Lynette sets out on a dangerous odyssey in Portland; confronting her own dark past over one propulsive night.

Joining Kirby in the film is Jennifer Jason Leigh (Fargo), Zack Gottsagen (The Peanut Butter Falcon), Stephan James (If Beale Street Could Talk), Julia Fox (Uncut Gems), Eli Roth (Inglorious Basterds), Randall Park (WandaVision) and Michael Kelly (Jack Ryan).

The script was written by Sarah Conradt (Mother’s Instinct) and will be produced by Kirby, Benjamin and Jodie Caron for Squared Eyed Pictures, Lauren Dark for Aluna Entertainment and H2L Media Group’s Gary Levinsohn and Billy Hines. Executive producing are Ryan Bartecki and Vlautin.

There is no word yet on when Night Always Comes will begin production or a release window for Netflix.
