John Wick creator developing Hitman TV series for Hulu

November 19, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Fox 21 and Hulu are teaming up to bring Agent 47 to the small screen, with the two companies in development on a TV series based upon the hit video game franchise Hitman.

Hulu is eyeing the project as a potential flagship series for the streaming network, and have enlisted John Wick creator Derek Kolstad to pen the script, as well as executive producing with Adrian Askarieh and Chuck Gordon.

The Hitman video game franchise launched in 2000 and has went on to sell over 35 million copies worldwide. It has twice been adapted for the big screen with 2007’s Hitman and 2015’s Hitman: Agent 47, with Timothy Olyphant and Rupert Friend both having portrayed Agent 47.
