John Wick helmer Chad Stahelski to direct action-thriller Classified

March 15, 2021 by Gary Collinson

New Line Cinema has snapped up the rights to Classified, an action thriller package which has John Wick helmer Chad Stahelski attached to direct.

Written by Andrew Deutschman and Jason Pagan (Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension), the film is described “as Die Hard meets Indiana Jones” and takes place inside a top secret government bunker housing relics covertly recovered during World War II, which “turn out to be more powerful and dangerous than ever imagined.”

In addition to directing, Stahelski will also produce the project through his 87Eleven Entertainment banner. First however, the stuntman-turned-director will get back behind the camera for John Wick: Chapter 4, while he also remains attached to the long-gestating reboot of cult 80s fantasy Highlander.
