October 25, 2024 by Matt Rodgers

Sony Pictures has dropped the trailer for One of Them Days, which sees Keke Palmer (Nope) teaming up with 2024 Glastonbury headliner SZA for an R-rated buddy comedy about two friends in a race against time to get their overdue rent money.

Directed by Rap Sh!t‘s Lawrence Lamont, working from a script by that same show’s Syreeta Singleton, One of Them Days also stars Lil Rel Howery, Janelle James, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Maude Apatow, Katt Williams, Joshua Neal, Aziza Scott and Patrick Cage. Watch the trailer below…

“Best friends and roommates Dreux (Keke Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA) are about to have one of them days,” the logline says. “When they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact.”
