Knives Out 2 adds Iron Fist star Jessica Henwick

June 15, 2021 by Liam Waddington

Deadline is reporting that Jessica Henwick is the latest actor to join the growing cast for director Rian Johnson’s upcoming Knives Out sequel in a currently undisclosed role.

Henwick is perhaps best known for her role as Colleen Wing in Marvel’s Netflix shows including Iron Fist, The Defenders and the second season of Luke Cage. She is currently set to star in The Gray Man, which is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and led by Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling, and she is included in the cast for the upcoming fourth instalment in The Matrix franchise – which is directed and co-written by Lana Wachowski.

Henwick will join an already announced cast including Daniel Craig, who is reprising his Knives Out role as Benoit Blanc as well as newcomers Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead), Edward Norton (Motherless Brooklyn), Janelle Monáe (Hidden Figures), Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), Kate Hudson (Almost Famous), and Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks).

While plot and characters details are currently being kept under wraps, we do know that filming is set to begin this summer in Greece after Netflix recently won the rights for two sequels to 2019’s Knives Out. The sequel will once again be written and directed by Johnson.
