La La Land leads the nominations for the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards

The Broadcast Film Critics Association have announced the nominations for the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards, with Damien Chazelle’s La La Land leading the field with 12 nominations in total, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Ryan Gosling) and Best Actress (Emma Stone).

Moonlight and Arrival both scored ten nominations apiece, and will contest Best Picture with La La Land against Fences, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, Lion, Loving, Manchester by the Sea and Sully.
