Library of the Dead TV series in development

November 17, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Variety is reporting that Glenn Cooper’s bestselling Library of the Dead book trilogy is in development as a high-end TV series from Italy’s Lucisano Media Group and France’s Federation Entertainment.

The Library of the Dead books have sold over 6 million copies worldwide and follow “a New York-based FBI agent named Will Piper and involves a library situated under an ancient monastery where deadly secrets are concealed.”

“With a qualified partner like Federation Entertainment we will be able to maximize the value of the TV adaptation of a series of novels that have great artistic and commercial potential…and have riveted millions of readers around the world,” said Paola Lucisano.

The series is expected to be shot in English, and Lucisano will be shopping the project to international buyers with a view to securing financing to shoot in 2019.
