Lina Esco to play Maze in Lucifer pilot

March 5, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Lina Esco (CSI, Cane) has signed on to FOX’s upcoming DC pilot Lucifer, where she is set to play the character of Mazikeen – or Maze, as she’ll be called in the series – “a fierce demon” and best friend to Lucifer, who accompanies him to Earth.

The pilot is based upon the Vertigo comic book series and sees Tom Ellis (Once Upon a Time) as the Lord of Hell, who abandons his kingdom and heads to Los Angeles to open up a bar, as well as helping the LAPD to catch criminals.

The Lucifer pilot is being directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld), with Tom Kapinos (Californation) serving as showrunner.
