Make Yours Marvel with Eaglemoss Collections

September 26, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Earlier this month we brought you a look at the range of DC goodies from Eaglemoss Collections, but if you’re more of a Marvel person you need not feel left out as there’s also a rather splendid selection of collectibles on offer for fans of the House of Ideas.

The Classic Marvel Figurine Collection

Way back in 1 BIM (that’s ‘Before Iron Man‘, or 2007 if you’re going by the Gregorian calendar), Eaglemoss launched The Classic Marvel Figurine Collection, a 200-run hand-painted collection featuring the greatest heroes and villains from the Marvel universe, along with a number of Specials and Mega-Specials featuring bigger characters such as The Incredible Hulk, Juggernaut, Thanos, Apocalypse, Galactus, Fin Fang Foom and M.O.D.O.K.

If you missed out on the series first time around, or there are gaps in your collection, the figurines are now being reissued as new editions, this time produced from a specially formulated metallic resin as opposed to the original lead. In addition to the figurine, each instalment comes with its own collector’s box, and a digest-sized booklet featuring the characters’ history, greatest moments and behind-the-scenes information. You’ll be a Marvel expert in no time!

Marvel Movie Collection

Perhaps the Marvel Cinematic Universe is more your thing? Well, Eaglemoss also has you covered there with the Marvel Movie Collection, a range of 1:16 scale figurines featuring characters from 2008’s Iron Man right through to Phase Three (with additional figures set to be added as new movies are released). These amazingly detailed figurines have been digitally sculpted and cast in a high quality metallic resin to create incredible likenesses of your favourite heroes and villains, all approved by Marvel and in many cases the actors themselves. Each figurine is accompanied by a 16-page magazine, which explores the character and actor, as well as a detailed behind-the-scenes examination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel Fact Files: Marvel Knights Specials

Shifting back to the comic book universe, the Marvel Fact Files: Marvel Knights Collection offers 1:16 scale sculpts of Daredevil, The Punisher, Luke Cage, Elektra and The Kingpin, complete with an in-depth, 20-page magazine packed with a wealth of information about each character. I’d like to give a special mention to the Kingpin figure here – it’s currently occupying pride of place on my Marvel shelf, and it’s really something. At just £16.99, it’s an absolute steal, and highly recommended.

To browse or purchase all of the items mentioned above, be sure to head on over to the Eaglemoss Collections store here.
