It looks like Kevin Smith has found his mall for the upcoming sequel to his sophomore film Mallrats, with the filmmaker announcing on Facebook that production will get underway in Exton, PA this coming January.

Interestingly, Smith refers to the film as Mallrats 2 rather than the previously announced MallBrats.
Much of the original cast from Mallrats will be back for the sequel, with Smith confirming that Jason Lee, Jeremy London, Jason Mewes, Shannen Doherty, Ethan Suplee, Joey Lauren Adams, Renee Humphrey, , Claire Forlani, Michael Rooker, Sven-Ole Thorsen, Brian O’HalloranBryan Johnson, Walt Flanagan, Scott Mosier and Stan Lee are all set to return.
