After starring in the smash hit Barbie last summer, Margot Robbie’s next big film has landed a release date. A Big Bold Beautiful Journey will be released on May 9th, 2025.
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey stars Robbie and Colin Farrell (The Penguin). Farrell is taking over from Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy, who was cast as the male lead but had to drop out. The film is “an imaginative tale of two strangers and the unbelievable journey that connects them” from a script written by Seth Reiss (The Menu) with Kogonada (After Yang) directing.
The film will be produced by Imperative’s Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas and Ryan Friedkin with Reiss and Youree Henley. Executive producing is Kogonada, Ilene Feldman and Original Films’ Ori Eisen.
