Mark Ruffalo confirms Avengers: Age of Ultron cast for Comic-Con

June 27, 2014 by Gary Collinson

It’s not really much of a surprise given that it’s the last San Diego Comic-Con before the release of the film, but Mark Ruffalo has confirmed to Collider that the cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron will be in attendance in Hall H next month, where the Joss Whedon-helmed sequel will presumably be the centrepiece of Marvel’s eagerly-anticipated panel:

“Yeah, we’re gonna go out there. We’re all flying, we’re flying from London. We’re working. We’re shooting. We’re gonna stop and get on a plane and go to Comic Con together. It’s gonna be amazing… There might be some cool new Hulk, Hulk-o, Hulk-o-phobia, Hulk-o-phernalia. Hulk-a-phernalia!”

Head on over to Collider for the full interview, where Ruffalo talks about his nine-picture deal, the advancements in motion-capture technology, and the ongoing development of the Hulk / Bruce Banner relationship.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is set for release in the UK on April 24th 2015 and North America on May 1st 2015, and sees Marvel veterans Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (The Incredible Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Paul Bettany (JARVIS / The Vision) joined in the cast by new MCU additions Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass 2) as Quicksilver, Elizabeth Olsen (Godzilla) as the Scarlet Witch, James Spader (The Blacklist) as Ultron, Thomas Kretschmann (Dracula) as Baron Strucker and Josh Brolin (Oldboy) as Thanos.
