Marvel’s Hawkeye concept art features alternate Yelena Belova costume designs

February 13, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

After making her debut in Black Widow, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova made a quick return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe last year as she arrived in New York City seeking justice and stealing scenes in Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye. And, thanks to illustrator Josh Nizzi, we now have a look at a couple of unused costume designs for Yelena’s appearance in the Disney+ series, which you can find below courtesy of Nizzi’s Instagram page…

Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

Hawkeye sees Jeremy Renner returning as Clint Barton alongside Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee) as Kate Bishop, Florence Pugh (Black Widow) as Yelena Belova, Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring) as Eleanor Bishop, Fra Fee (Les Miserables) as Kazi, Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul) as Jack Duquesne, Zahn McClarnon (Fargo) as William Lopez, newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, and Jolt as Lucky the Pizza Dog.

Marvel’s Hawkeye is available to stream now on Disney+.
