Marvel Studios unleashed the hugely-anticipated superhero epic Avengers: Infinity War this past weekend, with audiences embracing the film to the tune of a $630 million opening weekend – shattering the previous record of $541.9 million set by The Fate of the Furious last year.
In the wake of the monster opening, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige has shared a letter thanking fans for making Avengers: Infinity War the biggest opening weekend in history, as well as supporting the Marvel Cinematic Universe over its first ten years.

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time.
