Marvel’s Wastelanders original scripted audio series coming to SiriusXM

November 20, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Coinciding with the launch of a new partnership bringing Marvel Entertainment podcasts to SiriusXM, the companies have announced today that a new multi-part original scripted audio series entitled Marvel’s Wastelanders will be launching in 2021.

Details are scarce at present, but it has been revealed that the new series will bring together Old Man Logan, Old Man Hawkeye, Old Man Quill, Grey Widow and others for a new adventure in the Wastelands.

While Marvel’s Wastelanders won’t arrive until the New Year, SiriusXM subscribers can now access the weekly podcast Marvel/Method where actor and rapper Method Man interviews celebrity guests about life and all things fandom, Marvel comics and more, while the nonfiction podcast Marvel’s Declassified will launch on December 8th and take fans on a journey through the history of Marvel Comics.

“Marvel has always told stories to entertain and inspire. And just as Marvel’s stories began in the comics and grew into the rich universe we know today, we see audio storytelling as just the beginning of unlimited possibilities for our brand,” said Dan Buckley, President of Marvel Entertainment. “Our fans are consuming content more than ever, and now wherever they are, they can explore the Marvel Universe through brand-new and ongoing podcasts that bring Marvel together with the world and people around us, along with exciting new scripted content coming on SiriusXM’s platform next year.”
