Medieval multiplayer survival RPG Nested Lands announced with first trailer

May 16, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Meta Publishing and developer 1M Bits Horde have unveiled their upcoming multiplayer survival RPG Nested Lands.  Set in a plague devastated medieval world, Nested Lands is a brutal survival game that challenges players to survive and prosper or become one of the corpses.  Watch the new teaser trailer below….

In Nested Lands, a devastating plague has corrupted the world.  The kingdom has changed from a lush, peaceful land to one filled with death and violence. Where crops once grew in plenty there are now untended fields and once bustling villages are sparsely populated.  Death comes quickly at the hands of bloodthirsty bandits, plague ridden madmen and the harsh weather.

Players will need to overcome the hardships of the land and make their fame spread across the kingdom.  To do this, players will craft their own tools and equipment and gather the resources they need to survive.  Random events will require decisions and every decision will have consequences. Those who learn to survive can either make a name for themselves that will be praised or feared by those who remain.

Featuring:

  • Take part in brutal battles, improve skills and equipment and stay sharp for all dangers. Even a lowly starving vagrant can find a way past the heavy armour of the unwary.
  • Create settlements fit for a king by building dozens of upgradable buildings, crafting hundreds of items, creating farms and breeding animals.
  • Save and recruit villagers and other survivors, but be sure to defend them from the greedy eyes of bandits.
  • A highly detailed crafting system provides many ways to survive this unforgiving world.
  • An interactive environment provides all a player will need to grow their settlement.
  • Explore the world solo or with friends in co-op.

This summer, Meta Publishing will run a closed Alpha Test, this will last three weeks and will allow players to experience the game’s first few hours.  Those who sign up via the official website will gain a unique sword and shield and priority access to the Beta, which is planned to go live at the end of the year.

Nested Lands will launch on PC via Steam.
