Merchant of the Skies gets a new trailer

May 17, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Coldwild Games has announced they will be delaying the full release of their latest game, Merchant of the Skies, by two months.  With a new release date set for 30th July, the developers feel this will give enough time to provide extra polish to the game and make it as good as possible prior to it leaving Early Access.  A brand new trailer has also been released that captures the essence of the game, and we have it for you below.

In Merchant of the Skies players become the captain of their very own airship and set out on a journey to create their own trading empire.  Players will need to gather resources as they start off in their first little cloudship and trade their way to become one of the largest trading companies of the air.  Players will need to discover the best and most lucrative trade routes and ensure they meet supply and demand.

As players travel from island to island they will begin to uncover the game world and discover numerous different encounters that may or may not help them on their way.

Merchant of the Skies features:

  • Multiple trade routes to discover, but which will bring the most profit?
  • Different encounters on the journeys to islands.
  • Sandbox gameplay allows players to do what they want, when they want.
  • Gain experience in trading then start goods production and cut out the middleman.

Merchant of the Skies is available in Steam Early Access and will release fully on 30th July.
