Neo-noir cyberpunk adventure Neon Blood coming to gamers this November

October 2, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Meridiem and ChaoticBrain Studios has announced that their neo-noir cyberpunk RPG / Graphic Adventure, Neon Blood, will release digitally on PC and consoles on 26th November, and also as a physical edition for the Playstation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

With PixelArt 2D sprites and a beautiful looking 3D modelled environment, Neon Blood takes players to the year 2053 and a world reduced to a single macropolis, Viridis.  Viridis is a huge location formed by two cities, the luxurious Bright City and the dystopian Blind City and it is this huge difference between the two that drives the game’s main character, idealistic detective Axel McCoin.

Axel McCoin is a man motivated by his ideals to rebel against the society in which he sees so much injustice and social inequalities.  As Axel, players will help this detective meet powerful allies who will help his cause, fight off enemies who will stand in his way (including Ruby Emerald) and achieve his objective.

Players will be able to experience a variety of cleverly designed puzzles and take part in classic turn-based combat with precise Quick Time Events.

Featuring:

  • A deep story with a cyberpunk theme and classic turn-based combat.
  • 2.5D aesthetic that merges cyberpunk and Sci-Fi.
  • A big macropolis to explore with secrets galore and a complete dialogue-based detective system.
  • Immersive and dynamic night landscapes with lots of neon.

Neon Blood will launch digitally on all platforms on 26th November. The PS5 and Nintendo Switch digital version will include a metallic textured sleeve, art book, city guide and downloadable soundtrack.
