Netflix opens Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities with teaser for horror anthology series

June 6, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, the upcoming horror anthology series which contains eight sinister tales from directors Panos Cosmatos, Jennifer Kent, Vincenzo Natali, Ana Lily Amirpour, Catherine Hardwicke, Guillermo Navarro, David Prior and Keith Thomas.

Check out the trailer here…

Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities is a collection of live-action stories that Netflix says is meant to challenge our traditional notions of horror. From macabre to magical, gothic to grotesque or classically creepy, the eight sinister tales — including two original works by del Toro — will be brought to life by a team of writers and directors personally chosen by the Shape of Water filmmaker.

The series features a cast that includes Eric André, Sofia Boutella, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Rupert Grint, Kate Micucci, Charlyne Yi, F. Murray Abraham, Ben Barnes, Elpidia Carrillo, Essie Davis, Hannah Galway, Crispin Glover, Demetrius Grosse, David Hewlett, Andrew Lincoln, Tim Blake Nelson, Luke Roberts, Sebastian Roché, Glynn Turman and Peter Weller.

Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities is coming to Netflix later this year.
