Spike Lee has taken to Instagram to announce that Netflix has given a season two order to its half-hour comedy series based upon his cult 1986 debut feature film She’s Gotta Have It. Check out his post here…

The first season hit Netflix this past November and stars DeWanda Wise as Nola Darling, an uncompromising woman in her late twenties struggling to define herself and divide her time among her Friends, her Job and her Three Lovers: The Cultured Model, Greer Childs, The Protective Investment Banker, Jamie Overstreet and Da Original B-Boy Sneakerhead, Mars Blackmon. Also featuring in the cast are Cleo Anthony, Lyriq Bent, Anthony Ramos, Chyna Layne, and Margot Bingham.
