New DLC for Endzone – A World Apart will take survivors to distant places this May

February 24, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Assemble Entertainment and developer Gentlymad Studio have revealed they will be bringing an all-new DLC to Endzone – A World Apart this May.  The DLC, titled Distant Places, will take players to far-away territories on a journey of discovery via hot air balloon.

Endzone – A World Apart puts players in charge of a settlement of survivors who venture to the surface after an apocalyptic nuclear war.  Now, the Distant Places DLC takes players centuries ahead of those difficult first days above ground and introduces new territories to explore in their hot air balloons.  Settlers will be able to travel far beyond their usual boundaries to new destinations where they will discover new blueprints, new food items and possibly other displaced survivors.

Players will be able to experience 12 story-driven, large-scale expeditions that will take them to four new places of the world, each of which offer the prospect of very rewarding outcomes.  These new expeditions will introduce survivors to six all-new exotic foods, including coconuts and bananas, and will also provide blueprints for brand-new structures.

Gamers are still able to help save the planet by purchasing Endzone’s Save the World Edition. Thanks to a partnership between Assemble Entertainment and environmental activist organisation One Tree Planted, the sale of this edition will plant a new tree in damaged forests around the world.

The Distant Places DLC will release in May via Steam and GOG for £6.49 / €7.99.
