Nicolas Cage and Mike Figgis to re-team for Exit 147

May 16, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

Variety has reported the news that Leaving Las Vegas star Nicolas Cage and director Mike Figgis are set to re-team two decades later for Exit 147, which is scripted by Travis Milloy (Pandorum) and will see see Cage star as a policeman with a “warped sense of justice.” So far, so Cage.

“This is the kind of story that turns up once in a blue moon. It is the perfect vehicle for Nicolas and I am excited to be back in business with this great actor. I love this combination of dark and scary balanced with edgy humor,” said Figgis.

Released in 1995, Leaving Las Vegas saw Cage win the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Actor, and garnered numerous nominations at both ceremonies.
