Orphan Black: Echoes trailer reveals June premiere

March 31, 2024 by Ricky Church

AMC has released a new trailer for Orphan Black: Echoes, a spin-off of the hit sci-fi series Orphan Black. The series, which stars Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter, is set to premiere on June 23rd for AMC+. Watch the trailer below…

Orphan Black: Echoes is a spin-off to Orphan Black which saw Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk) as a number of clones investigating the vast conspiracy that created them and what their true purpose is. The spin-off takes place decades after the conclusion of the original series and will see Ritter as Lucy, a woman who wakes up after an operation with no memory of who she is or how she came to be there as another secret cloning operation has seemingly begun.

The series was created, written and executive produced by showrunner Anna Fishko (The Society). Orphan Black co-creator John Fawcett also serves as an executive producer as well as director for several episodes of the 10-episode season, including the pilot. Also executive producing are David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg, Nick Nantell, Kerry Appleyard and Katie O’Connell Marsh.

Set in the near future, the spin-off takes a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence. It follows a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unraveling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal.

Orphan Black: Echoes stars Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Keeley Hawes (Bodyguard), Amanda Fix (High School), Avan Jogia (Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City),Ria Kihlstedt (Nowhere), Reed Diamond (Homicide) and Hiroyuki Liao (Unforgettable).

Orphan Black: Echoes will premiere on June 23rd.
