Overlord: Escape From Nazarick boxed limited edition coming to Nintendo Switch this July

May 17, 2024 by Andrew Newton

SelectaPlay has announced they will be releasing a boxed Limited Edition of their pixel-art inspired Metroidvania Overlord: Escape From Nazarick for the Nintendo Switch on 5th July.  This limited edition will provide fans with a variety of Overlord themed items.

The Overlord: Escape From Nazarick Limited Edition box set will include a number of different items besides the game itself. These items include a colour printed instruction manual, the original soundtrack to the game on CD, a specially printed artbook, a digital code to download both the artbook and soundtrack onto your devices, and there’s an Adventurer’s Guild pendant set at Adamantite Rank.  All this will be contained in a special box featuring the game’s lovely cover.

In Overlord: Escape From Nazarick, players will take the role of the warrior Clementine who wakes up in the underground Great Tomb of Nazarick.  Imprisoned by the mysterious undead called Ainz Ooal Gown (the ‘hero’ of the anime) and forced to participate in experimentation, Clementine is determined to escape.  Without her weapons, and suffering from amnesia, Clementine must make her way to freedom by defeating Ainz and his many challenging companions.

The Limited Edition of Overlord: Escape From Nazarick is available to pre-order now from retailers.
