Bandai Namco Europe has today announced they will be bringing PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs to PC and consoles in early 2024. This upcoming title will bring the multiplayer PAC-MAN Battle Royale series to modern gaming platforms along with enhanced visuals, brand-new gameplay modes and a wealth of customisation options. PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs will bring massive Battle Royale matches that allows up to 64 players to compete and be the last PAC-MAN standing, or in other words, become the Chomp Champ. In each match players will need to munch their way through multiple interconnected mazes and take on both the Ghosts and hamper other players by utilising a number of Power Items, including shields, enhanced speed and items that help the Ghosts.
PAC fans can also express their own style by personalising their characters with a good variety of different body, head and face cosmetics.
Players will be able to take part in Ranked or Elimination modes to boost their positions on a global leaderboard, plus they’ll also be able to spectate matches either regionally or via the global leaderboard.
Battles are also enhanced by cross-platform play and skill-based matchmaking which allows players to choose who they want to compete against.
PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs will be coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in early 2024.
