Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins has revealed to THR that she is keen to team with Ryan Gosling on the indie drama I Am Superman.
Bearing no relation to DC Comics’s Man of Steel, Jenkins began developing I Am Superman following her breakout movie Monster, although the project was ultimately put on hold. Although details are scarce, The Playlist reports that the film follows “a fighting pitbull who finds itself on a strange and unexpected journey that will ultimately decide its fate.”
Jenkins will likely have her pick of projects following the release of Wonder Woman, which has earned serious critical acclaim and is looking at an opening weekend of around $200 million. Read our reviews of the DC blockbuster here, here and here.
