Peaky Blinders final season to premiere this month on BBC One

February 17, 2022 by Ricky Church

The final season of Peaky Blinders is coming sooner than expected as BBC One announced the Cillian Murphy-led series will return Sunday, February 27 in the UK.

Peaky Blinders‘ sixth and final season will run for six episodes. While it airs on BBC One in the UK, Netflix streams it internationally and it is unknown when it will arrive on the service for viewers outside the UK.

Peaky Blinders season six sees returning cast members Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby, Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, Finn Cole as Michael Gray, Anya Taylor-Joy as Gina Gray and Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons. Also starring is Brian Gleeson as Jimmy McCavern, Neil Maskell as Winston Churchill and Sam Claflin as Oswald Mosley. New cast members include James Frecheville (Animal Kingdom), Conrad Khan (The Hunstman: Winter’s War) and Amber Anderson (Emma.).

The award-winning series premiered in 2013 and follows the rise of the Peaky Blinders gang led by Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) during the first half of the 20th Century in Birmingham, England. Although the series is coming to end, Knight has confirmed that the story of the Peaky Blinders will continue in film form.
