Pedro Pascal enters final talks to play Reed Richards in Marvel’s Fantastic Four

November 15, 2023 by EJ Moreno

Has Marvel finally found its Mr. Fantastic? Deadline is reporting that Marvel Studios has its eyes set on Pedro Pascal for the role of Reed Richards.

Per Deadline, “scheduling is still being worked out, but multiple sources close to the negotiations are saying it’s headed in the right direction.”

Matt Shakman is set to helm Fantastic Four, and the casting process has been quite the journey. Adam Driver, Jake Gyllenhaal, and many more actors have been in talks for this role, but the new story for Deadline puts Pascal firmly at the front of the race.

With the film gearing up for production very soon, this could mean that The Mandalorian star is in the lead role of the Fantastic Four.

And for the fan-favorite actor, Pedro Pascal, has quite the slate ahead of him. Along with his Marvel Studios debut, he’ll also star in Gladiator 2, and The Last Of Us season 2 is expected to shoot next year.
