See Pierce Brosnan as a WWII veteran in The Last Rifleman exclusive clip

Pierce Brosnan stars as an elderly World War II veteran on a quest to return to Normandy in The Last Rifleman, a drama from director Kevin Fitzpatrick, which has just received its Stateside releasde courtesy of Samuel Goldwyn Films.

Also starring Clémence Poésy, Jürgen Prochnow, Desmond Eastwood, Claire Rafferty, Ian McElhinney, Samuel Bottomley and the late John Amos in his final film role, you can check out an exclusive clip from the film below…

Inspired by a true story, Pierce Brosnan plays Artie Crawford, a World War II veteran living in a care home in Northern Ireland who has just lost his wife. On the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings, he decides to escape his care home and embarks on a journey to France to pay his final respects.

The Last Rifleman is available on digital and On Demand platforms now.
