Power corrupts in new trailer for Netflix’s Code 8 Part II

February 3, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of the arrival of Code 8 Part II on Netflix later this month, the streamer has released a new trailer for the sci-fi action fantasy sequel along with a gallery of promotional images.

The film reunites director Jeff Chan with stars Robbie and Stephen Amell who reprise their roles as Connor and Garrett and sees Connor trying to leave his life of crime behind following his incarceration, until he is forced to turn to his former criminal associate Garrett for help to protect a teenage girl from a corrupt cop. Watch the trailer below…

In this sequel to Code 8, Connor (Robbie Amell) is out of prison and working as a janitor at a community center, having cut ties with his former criminal associate Garrett (Stephen Amell). Connor’s attempt at staying out of trouble is destroyed when he’s forced to help 14-year-old Pav (Sirena Gulamgaus) escape from a pack of corrupt officers led by Sergeant King (Alex Mallari Jr.). King uses the newly launched robotic K9’s to track Pav down, while Connor finds himself once again reaching out to Garrett and his crew for help, but can he trust the man who landed him in prison in the first place?

Featuring in the cast of Code 8 Part II are Robbie Amell, Stephen Amell, Sirena Gulamgaus, Jean Yoon, Alex Mallari Jr., and Aaron Abrams.

Code 8 Part II arrives on Netflix on February 28th.
