Psychological horror-thriller The Unraveling shares first trailer

September 2, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its world premiere at the Nashville Festival at the end of this month, a trailer has arrived online for director Kd Amond’s psychological horror-thriller The Unraveling.

The film stars Sarah Zanotti (who also co-writes the film alongside Amond) as a woman who becomes convinced that her husband (Sam Brooks) has been replaced by an imposter after she suffers a traumatic brain injury from a car accident. Watch the trailer below…

After suffering a traumatic brain injury from a car accident, Mary Dunne is convinced that her husband, Grayson, has been replaced by an impostor. She receives phone calls from an unknown caller who claims to be the “real Grayson,” causing Mary to suspect that she’s living in a parallel universe with impostors who are gaslighting her and keeping her against her will. Tensions reach a breaking point when Mary finds out she is pregnant with the supposed impostor’s baby.

The Unraveling is set to premiere on September 30th at the Nashville Film Festival.
