Odeya Rush ventures into Dangerous Waters in trailer for Ray Liotta’s final film

October 5, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Brainstorm Media has released a trailer, poster and images for the upcoming thriller Dangerous Waters, the final film featuring the late Ray Liotta.

Directed by John Barr, the film stars Odeya Rush as Rose and Saffron Burrows as her mother Alma and follows the pair as they are whisked away on a sailing trip to Bermuda by Alma’s new boyfriend Derek (Eric Dane), but their idyllic break soon takes a harrowing turn when their boat is attacked and Alma is murdered, forcing Rose to fight for survival while seeking vengeance for her mother’s death. Watch the trailer below…

A sailing adventure spirals out of control in this tightly wound-survival thriller. 19-year-old Rose (Odeya Rush) lives a tough, small-town life in Florida with her single mother Alma (Saffron Burrows). Their luck seems to take a turn when Alma’s new businessman boyfriend, Derek (Eric Dane), whisks them away on a sailing adventure to Bermuda. While at sea, Derek’s “business” is revealed to be less than legitimate when their boat is attacked by savage villains, set on fire, and Alma is viciously killed. Distraught and persecuted by Derek and The Captain (Ray Liotta), Rose unearths a primal instinct of survival and a terrifying need for vengeance. She will not yield until those responsible for her mother’s murder are dead.

Dangerous Waters arrives in cinemas and On Demand on October 13th.
