Razzies 2022: Diana the Musical, Space Jam and Bruce Willis lead “winners” of the 42nd Golden Raspberry Awards

March 26, 2022 by Gary Collinson

Ahead of this weekend’s Academy Awards, the “winners” of the 42nd annual Golden Raspberry Awards were announced last night, with Netflix’s filmed stage show Diana the Musical sweeping the board with five Razzies in Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, Worst Actress (Jeanna de Waal as Diana) and Worst Supporting Actress (Judy Kate as Queen Elizabeth and Barbara Cartland).

LeBron James’ Space Jam: A New Legacy also came under fire, with LeBron named Worst Actor and sharing Worst Screen Couple with ‘Any Warner Cartoon Character (or Time-Warner Product) He Dribbles On’. A New Legacy was also honoured with Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel, while – in arguably the most hotly-contested category of the night – Bruce Willis received the Razzie for Worst Performance By Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie, with his turn in Cosmic Sin fending off competition from the seven other films he phoned in last year.
