Release date for horror Home Sweet Home announced

Publisher Mastiff and Thailand based studio Yggdrazil Game Group have announced that their first person survival horror Home Sweet Home will be arriving on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PS VR on 16th October.  This dark and twisted tale is based on real world Thai mythology and lore and guaranteed to spook the pants off you.

Home Sweet Home takes players into a terrifying maze of rooms, corridors and offices where danger looms round every corner.  Taking the role of Tim, a man struggling to come to terms with the mysterious disappearance of his wife, players will need to explore this strange dilapidated building for a way out but will need to avoid the bloodthirsty evil spirits that are hunting him.

This survival horror features:

  • Gripping Thai Horror – A dark tale inspired by Thai lore and mythology that will have players pulses pounding with fear.
  • Sharpen Wits, Not Blades – There’s no weapons to use against the evil spirits, players must keep their wits sharp remain sharp at all times in order to survive.
  • Nicely Tied Together – The use of stealth and investigative skills provides a chance for players to breathe, but not for long….
  • Face Your Fears – Experience a new level of first-person fear and terror with PS VR compatibility.

“We are very excited to be working with Mastiff in order to bring the dark, Thai-inspired world of Home Sweet Home to consoles,” shares Saroot Tubloy, Chief Operating Officer of Yggdrazil Game Group. “The game’s real-world lore and mythology is sure to captivate and intrigue players, while its brooding narrative keeps them clinging to the edge of their seat.”

Home Sweet Home arrives on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PS VR this October.
