Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced the launch of Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac on PC and consoles. This remake retains the charm of the original title while modernising the gameplay for a new generation of Pac fans. Journey into Pac-Land in pursuit of the Ghosts on a mission to reclaim the stolen Golden Fruit. Watch the launch trailer below….
Run, chomp and butt-bounce your way across Pac-Land as the beloved Pac-Man in this lovingly remade title with added gameplay mechanics. Enjoy classic platform action through environments such as meadows, ice peaks, volcanoes, ocean levels and more, and take on challenging enemies, massive bosses and the villainous Spooky. There’s a range of attacks and moves to use, including the new Super Butt Bounce, and along with enhanced Flip Kick, Ice Skating, Snorkelling, Pac-Marine and many more, the Ghosts won’t stand a chance.
This remake brings new and updated bosses, brand-new levels and an all-new Time Trial Mode that challenges players to speed run levels and compete for the top spot on global leaderboards. If this isn’t enough to keep you playing, there’s a village arcade in game, where three classic Pac-Man games can be played, including Pac-Man, Pac-Attack, and PacMania. Additionally, there a Gashapon machine where in-game coins can be used to buy collectible figures.
Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is available now on PlayStation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. A Deluxe Edition that contains the Collaboration DLC with Sonic is set to arrive this November.
