Rumour: Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman to appear in Flashpoint movie

August 4, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Since it was announced that Warner Bros. has decided to retool The Flash solo movie as Flashpoint, there’s been a lot of speculation as to which other DCEU actors may pop up in the film alongside Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen as alternate versions of their existing characters. And, if Forbes is to be believed, we may now know the first.

According to the site, Gal Gadot is slated to reprise her role as Wonder Woman for the film, which they say will be “another superhero team-up featuring several additional DC superheroes”, as opposed to a Flash solo movie. The report also goes on to state that Flashpoint is aiming for release in 2020, meaning we’ll be seeing Gadot’s Amazon Princess again this November, as well as her own sequel in 2019 and Flashpoint the following year.

In the Flashpoint comic book story, which sees Barry Allen finding himself in an altered DC universe, Wonder Woman and the Amazons are at war with Aquaman’s Atlanteans, with the conflict causing enormous death and destruction across Europe. Of course, it’s possible that the Flashpoint movie could take the character in a completely different direction, should this rumour prove true.
