Rumour: Riz Ahmed’s mystery Venom character to appear in Silver & Black

August 14, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Last week it was announced that Riz Ahmed is in talks to join Tom Hardy in Sony’s SpiderVerse-launching Venom solo movie, with rumours suggesting that he’s being lined up for the role of Carnage or The Chameleon.

Well, according to Jeff Sneider of The Tracking Board, Ahmed is indeed playing The Chameleon, and may also appear in Sony’s other spinoff Silver & Black, along with fellow Spidey villains Tombstone and Tarantula.

Since I slipped the word "chameleon" into my Riz Ahmed/Venom story, I've heard the character could very well show up… in SILVER AND BLACK!

Have also heard TOMBSTONE and TARANTULA for SILVER AND BLACK. I don't know much about those Marvel villains, but they sound interesting…

All three of the above mentioned characters have previously been rumoured to feature in Silver & Black, but then again, so has almost every supporting character from the Spider-Man universe.

Silver & Black is set for release on February 8th, 2019.
