Russell Crowe directing thriller Poker Face with Liam Hemsworth, Elsa Pataky and RZA

Russell Crowe is getting back behind the camera to direct Poker Face, a thriller set in the world of high stakes poker and international finance.

As reported by Variety, the film will see Crowe portraying a tech billionaire who finds himself caught up in a risky card game. Joining him in the cast are Liam Hemsworth, RZA and Elsa Pataky, with the latter portraying a glamourous croupier.

Poker Face marks Crowe’s first directorial effort since his 2014 debut The Water Diviner, and is currently shooting now at Fox Studios in Sydney, Australia.
