Ryan Reynolds heading to Mars for Life

February 18, 2016 by Amie Cranswick

Fresh from his biggest ever box office hit in Deadpool, Variety is reporting that Ryan Reynolds could now be heading to Mars in the upcoming sci-fi Life, where he would star alongside Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation).

The project, which is being directed by Daniel Espinosa (Safe House, Child 44), follows “the crew of the International Space Station as it retrieves a sample from Mars and discovers that it displays signs of life more intelligent than ever expected.”

Reynolds will next be seen in the action thriller Criminal, where he stars alongside Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, Alice Eve and Gal Gadot. The film is set to open in April.Watch the trailer here.
