Sci-fi franchise Skyline continues with third instalment Skylin3s

November 5, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Vertical Entertainment has announced that it has acquired the distribution rights to Skylin3s, the third instalment of the Skyline franchise, which will reunite series co-creator Liam O’Donnell with Beyond Skyline star Lindsey Morgan, who reprises her role as Captain Rose Corley.

The official synopsis for Skylin3s reads:

The third film of this successful trilogy focuses on Captain Rose Corley, a human born with extraterrestrial superpowers that come with a price – she is the only person strong enough to beat the alien invaders but needs constant blood transfusions to stop her accelerated rate of aging. A long-time fighter against the invaders, Rose is now a fugitive on the run. Rose is plucked out of hiding by the military and once again asked to fight: hybrid alien-humans that make up the majority of Earth’s population are about to turn rogue, falling under alien control. With only 72 hours to succeed, Rose is sent on a mission to the alien mothership to save humanity.

Joining Morgan in the cast of Skylin3s are Jonathan Howard (Godzilla: King of Monsters), Alexander Siddig (Game of Thrones), Rhona Mitra (Underworld:Rise of the Lycans), Daniel Bernhardt (John Wick) and James Cosmo (Chernobyl).
