Simon the Sorcerer Origins launches digital pre-orders

September 18, 2025 by Andrew Newton

ININ Games and developer Smallthing Studios have announced that digital pre-orders are now available for Simon the Sorcerer Origins on PC and consoles. The game’s launch on 28th October will mark the return of one of gaming’s most iconic point-and-click adventures.  A new trailer can be seen below showing Simon’s world and the Deluxe Edition.

Simon the Sorcerer Origins will be available in two editions: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Edition will feature just the game, whilst the Deluxe Edition will include a digital artbook and the full soundtrack. Those who pre-order either edition of the game will receive the exclusive PONY DLC, which will allow players to enjoy the original 1993 Simon the Sorceror soundtrack as they play. The new soundtrack has been composed by acclaimed composer Mason Fischer, and even has music icon Rick Astley in a special role

It has been over three decades since Simon’s first game, and Simon the Sorcerer Origins takes players back into his beloved magic world to discover how it all began for him. Long-term fans will be excited to know that the original voice actors make a return, with Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf) providing the voices for English listeners and Erik Borner (Spy Cat) for German listeners. It’s a nice touch to twang the old nostalgia nerve for veteran gamers.

Simon the Sorcerer Origins arrives on PC, Mac, and consoles on 28th October.
