Sonic the Hedgehog set photos reveal James Marsden’s Sheriff

Filming is underway in Ladysmith, Vancouver Island, on the adaptation of blockbusting 90s SEGA game Sonic the Hedgehog, and while these early pics don’t give us a look at the titular ericius, or Dr. Robotnik, HollywoodNorth.buzz’s exclusive set snaps show us James Marsden’s local sheriff, and the town of Green Hills which he polices. The live-action/CG-hybrid film is being directed by Jeff Fowler (Gopher Broke) and sees Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) teaming up with James Marsden’s Tom Wachowski a cop in the small town of Green Hills, as they look to escape the government and thwart the plans of the evil Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey).

Sonic the Hedgehog is set to race into cinemas on November 15th 2019.
