Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are still very much in the dark on Spider-Man’s role in Captain America: Civil War, but a new feature on the movie in Empire claims that he will form a relationship with someone over the course of the film.
The magazine suggests that Spider-Man won’t be introduced in the movie until all characters have chosen sides, which backs-up reports that the character will only have a minor role in the film (though another rumour suggests it will be much larger). We know that Tom Holland, who will take on the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, filmed test scenes with both Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans while auditioning, so it’s up in the air which side the Wall Crawler will be taking.
With a new trailer reportedly on the way soon, we may get our answers before the film comes out in April.
