Spider-Man’s Scorpion actor says “stay tuned” regarding a possible MCU return

April 25, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Michael Mando portrayed the villain Scorpion in Spider-Man: Homecoming and he has given his thoughts on if he would return for another MCU appearance.

Spider-Man has no shortage of villains so reusing ones we have already seen might seem a little unlikely. Of course, anything is possible but what options are there?

Well, Michael Mando – who played Mac Gargan, a.k.a. Scorpion in Homecoming – seems to be keen on having another MCU appearance as the villain. Answering a fan on a Reddit AMA, the Better Call Saul actor said:

“Thank you so much sir! I love Spider-Man and I love that whole team 🙂 Who knows, I keep hearing things but I can’t confirm or deny anything… yet. Stay tuned xoxox”

With consistent rumours regarding the Sinister Six, perhaps Spidey’s next MCU appearance could see him battling a multitude of villains, old and new? We will have to wait and see.

Spider-Man 3 will see Jon Watts returning to the director’s chair with Tom Holland (Peter Parker) and Zendaya (MJ) reprising their roles. It is currently set for release on July 16th 2021.
