Star Wars: The Clone Wars star Ashley Eckstein says season 7 stories are “incredible”

November 6, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Ashley Eckstein, one of the stars of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, has said that stories present in the upcoming seventh season are “incredible”.

Among the Star Wars faithful there is a lot of hype surrounding the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a proposition many have been dreaming would become reality for years.

The show will air on Disney’s streaming service next year and one of its stars, Ashley Eckstein (who voices fan favourite character Ahsoka Tano), has told CBR that what showrunner Dave Filoni has in store is impressive:

“I can promise — obviously, Dave Filoni is a part of it and he’s done his best to bring back a lot of the key people that were a part of the show, pretty much all the cast members and then also some of the main crew members.  The stories are incredible, the people are incredible and anything that Dave Filoni touches is going to be amazing.”

It’s hardly surprising that Eckstein has such high praise for Filioni, a man who has become incredibly popular among Star Wars fans thanks to his work on The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Filoni will also soon make his live-action Star Wars debut, having been confirmed as one of the directors on the TV series The Mandalorian.
