Steven Seagal working on Under Siege 3, why he won’t work on Expendables

June 16, 2014 by admin

It has been 22 years since Steven Seagal saved a navy battleship in Under Siege, but it looks like Casey Ryback could be making a comeback for a third outing as Seagal has revealed he’s working on Under Siege 3.

In an interview with UK magazine Big Issue, the 62-year old said when asked what he had coming up, “I’m trying to do Under Siege 3… I’m trying to do some martial arts films in China. I have a lot of different scripts and ideas.”

When asked to confirm the movie is going into production, Seagal simply said “I hope so”.

With the first movie set on a boat and the second on a train, where next for Ryback? Seagal said, “I would set it Russia”.

When asked about working on the popular Expendables series, Seagal waved off the idea by saying, “I just didn’t like some of the people involved… Life is too short to work with funny people… There’s good and bad people everywhere and a lot of people in The Expendables I like too. So it’s okay.”

Funny people, eh? While Seagal wouldn’t name names, we can cross off Jason Statham and Jet Li as Seagal said he would like to work with them if he did his own version of The Expendables.
